David’s practice focuses on all aspects of residential and commercial real estate transactions including the representation of buyers and sellers in real property transactions, the representation of lenders and borrowers in financings and the preparation and negotiation of leases for both landlords and tenants. David also dedicates a portion of his practice to corporate law and regularly represents businesses in a variety of transactions. Prior to forming Kahan & Kligler, P.A., David worked at Boies Schiller Flexner, LLP, an Am Law 100 international law firm in Fort Lauderdale.

David was recently selected to the Super Lawyers Florida Rising Stars List, an honor reserved for lawyers who exhibit excellence and are under 40 years old. This distinction is only given to 2.5% of the lawyers in Florida. David is a 2010 graduate of the University of Miami School of Law, where he was a Dean’s Academic Merit scholarship recipient.

David prides himself on his responsiveness and in providing the best services possible to his clients. David is a sports fan and enjoys playing tennis and basketball. David has two children, Avery and Miles, and lives in Boca Raton with his children and wife, Carly, who is also a practicing attorney.
